Bulk CSV Import for Custom Assets

This feature is available in the New Drata Experience.

Customers can now create or update many custom assets at once using a guided, spreadsheet-style bulk import flow.

Why It Matters

• Faster asset management: Import large sets of records instead of creating custom assets one by one.

• Fewer mistakes before submission: Real-time validation surfaces errors so they can be fixed before import.

• Familiar workflow: Customers can upload a CSV, paste from a spreadsheet, or enter rows directly in the UI.

• Create and update records in the same import flow.

• Guided field mapping and value mapping for uploaded files.

• Protection against overwriting integration-managed assets from sources like AWS, Jamf, or Okta.
