Customizing Security Review Titles

DATE:
AUTHOR: The Drata Team

You can now give Vendor Security Reviews names that match how your team actually talks about them (for example, “Q4 Re-assessment – High Risk” or “SOC 2 Type II – 2025”), instead of relying only on auto-generated titles.

What’s New

  • Rename Security Reviews, SOC Report Reviews, and Upload review report reviews.

  • Rename directly from:

    • The Security Reviews table on the vendor profile (row-level overflow menu).

    • The Security Review detail page (page-level overflow menu).

  • New columns in the Security Reviews table:

    • Review type (Security, SOC, Uploaded)

    • Created date

    • Updated date

  • Audit events are recorded when reviews are renamed.

  • Rename Security Reviews programmatically via API (where supported by the Vendors / Security Reviews APIs).

Why It Matters

  • Makes it easier to scan a vendor’s Security Reviews and quickly spot items like “Q4 Re-assessment – High Risk” or “SOC 2 Type II – 2025.”

  • Unblocks review types that don’t fit generic patterns (for example, “AI Review” or subject-area-specific reassessments).

  • Keeps Drata aligned with how TPRM teams label and track reviews in their own registers and workflows.

Where You’ll See It

  • Vendor profile → Security Reviews section

  • Security Reviews table on a vendor

  • Security review detail page header
