The SafeBase app for Microsoft Teams is now generally available. Customers no longer need to opt into the beta to use it. It is also now listed in the Microsoft Teams App Store, which makes installation easier and allows future updates without manually uploading a ZIP file.

Why It Matters

  • Customers no longer need to manually upload a ZIP file to install the integration.

  • Customers who reinstall through the Teams App Store can receive future updates automatically.

  • Teams can continue working in Microsoft Teams for key workflows like notifications, access request approvals, and questionnaire responses.

What’s New

  • The SafeBase bot is now listed in the Teams App Store.

  • Customers can install the integration through the Marketplace flow instead of using a manual upload process.

  • Once connected, teams can receive Trust Center notifications, approve or deny access requests, and answer assigned questionnaire questions without leaving Teams.

Notes

  • The integration is available on all SafeBase plans.

  • Existing customers do not need to reinstall.

  • Customers using the beta or early access .zip upload should reinstall through the Teams App Store if they want automated updates going forward.
