New Documents APIs
SafeBase now supports Documents APIs that allow customers to manage documents programmatically.
What’s New
Upload documents to SafeBase
Replace existing documents with updated versions
Delete documents that are no longer needed
Manage document metadata programmatically, including:
Assigning documents to Products
Controlling AI usage permissions (opt-in/opt-out)
Setting Document Types
Managing assigned Tags
Setting an Expiration Date
Important Notes
Requires Dev Resources: These APIs require developer resources and custom implementation. They are more complex to set up than our plug-and-play native integrations.
Linking Limitations: Currently, the API cannot link or unlink documents to specific Trust Center items. A user must log in to the SafeBase to perform that linking step to have them appear on the Trust Center.
Availability: Available to paid customers on Advanced or Enterprise plans.
