Bulk CSV Import for Policy Acknowledgments

Note: This feature is available in the New Drata Experience only.

Customers can now bulk import policy acknowledgment records directly in Drata — no Support request or backend SQL script required.

Why It Matters

  • Time Savings: Import hundreds of acknowledgment records at once instead of migrating to an integrated external platform, asking for a backend bulk import, or asking personnel to acknowledge policies again

  • Familiar Experience: Consistent with other bulk import flows (Risks, Controls, Tasks, etc.)

  • Excel-like Interface: Users can paste data directly from spreadsheets

  • Updated Compliance: Drata immediately reflects the most up-to-date compliance statuses

What's New

  • Maintainability: Follows established patterns reducing cognitive load

  • Automation: Drata automatically recomputes policy compliance and reruns two monitoring tests: 38 (Accepted Policies — Employees) and Test 190 (Accepted Policies — Contractors)
