Configurable Policy Approvals

We’ve launched Configurable Policy Approvals! This new capability allows organizations to define a tailored and multi-layered approval process for policies directly in the Drata.

What’s new:

• Flexible Approval Groups: Add up to 25 approvers in each group and choose whether any one can approve or all must approve.

• Multi-Tier Approval Flows: Set up to 6 sequential approval stages, each with its own name, deadline, rule, and reviewers.

• Smart Notifications: Approvers automatically receive emails when it’s their turn to approve.

• Approval Overrides: Admins or Policy Owners can step in and override in-progress approvals when changes are needed quickly.

• Updated UI: A new tabbed layout makes it easier to view and manage all aspects of a policy in one place.
