Drata Agent Release 3.8.0

Drata Agent 3.8.0 delivers updates that improve compatibility, enhance user control, expand language support, and refine system data collection.

What we launched:

• Improved Compatibility with Monitor Configurations:
  The agent now adjusts its window positioning more reliably across different Windows monitor configurations.

• Clearer Guidance on Permission Issues:
  When local storage permissions block agent operation, users now receive more detailed guidance, helping identify and resolve file access issues more easily.

• Support for Ubuntu 24.04:
  A default AppArmor profile is now included with installation to support Ubuntu 24.04 environments.

• Reduced System Data Collection:
  The agent no longer collects information about admin users, processor, memory, and graphics information.

• PowerShell Execution Improvements (Windows):
  PowerShell commands now default to -NoProfile, then fallback to profile usage when required, for better performance and compatibility with varied configurations. This results in more consistent behavior and improved performance across different system configurations.

• Language Support for Global Teams:
  The agent now supports Dutch, Spanish (Latin America), German, and French. The language is selected automatically during registration and can be updated in the application settings.

• Updated Tray UI and Controls:
  Tray icons now have light and dark system themes. The menu allows users to manually switch themes, register the device, or disconnect it as needed.
